I love my iPod Touch

It has been one of the best products that I have ever bought. I got it very soon after it came out and jailbroke 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. I had everything one could possibly want in a music player and more with 1.1.2.

  • I had the iPhone mail, stocks, weather, notes, etc.
  • I had installer.app which let me install and keep updated my close to 50 (at one point) 3rd party applications.
  • I had mobile scrobbler which connected with my last.fm account and updated it with the songs I played on the iPod.

I had so much and yet I was still itching to upgrade to the newest firmware after it came out today. So, knowing that I should know better, I took the plunge. The promise wasn’t bad:

Customizable Home Screen (complete with jiggling icons), Mail(with syncing through iTunes), Maps(with the new current location finder, Weather, Notes(which I incorrectly assumed could be synced with Leopard’s notes), and Stocks.

Now, I already had all these programs, but the upgraded features seemed so cool that I decided to go ahead with it.
